Yeah, I think we've established that.

And you are running the test at all default values right?

Now with the second 8800GTS I'm only getting 16.3k with both cards at 750/1050mhz. I used driversweeper to remove the nforce and nvidia graphics drivers and reinstalled but it didn't help. Why is my score so low?
You did lower the clocks. and you have a 3.2ghz proc.

Under "Manage 3D Settings" you should have a list of options for things like anti-aliasing or texture quality in global settings. There should be a tab for specific programs, and 3dMark06 is on of those. Like I said, it defaults to "Nvidia Recommended", but try different selections for this (I think you have SFR, AFR1, AFR2, and Single-GPU as options) and see if it ups your score.

The 750i goes to x8 x8 in SLI right?
Or did EVGA fix that in their FTW version?

750i is x16 x16

I just put my second one in last night, haven't played with it too much yet. Took me the longest time to figure out how to control the fan speed on the second card...

I'd say just keep playing with it. GL
