Hi All

I have purchased 4gb ram but obviously I need a 64bit OS to use all 4gb.

So i'm currently running 3gb, so my question is what do I need to change my virtual memory to?

Its currently on:

Initial Size (MB): 4000
Max Size (MB): 4096

Im running 4GB and no page file right now. No issues.

If you dont want to do away with it, I would try 1-2GB.

So what does turning page file off actually do/affect?

It tends to give browsing a more "snappy" feel due to not having to deal with HDD seek times(which are high compared to DRAM)...

There are some programs out that REQUIRE a PF though... Adobe Photshop being one.
