8800gt stock OC

Thread Starter
Hi, well im overclocking my GT as we speak, stock speeds are 600/1500/900

except my stock speeds were 600/1500/1000, it was an overclocked verison from Galaxy so i guess they added 100 to memory clock.

Anyway after doing several tests, last one was 700/1700/1100 and after about 10 min on ATI tool it artifacted at around 85c

took it down to 650/1600/1000 and 15 mins thru it looks like its on a stable 83c without an artifact.

Would this be my max i can go at the moment? ill leave it for another 20 mins to see if it artifacts.

Is 83c max is that passable to keep?

Also out of all 3 clocks, which one makes the heat go up the most? id rather leave that one down also if anyone knows, which one would make fps go higher haha. Thanks

that means you can raise your core voltage with a jumper
