for those prices the system looks great... but the power supply seems to be a bit underpower... maybe u want to consider upgrading it to one with higher efficiency or higher wattage

The PSU is more than capable of powering that system

That system will @ load will consume around 375w MAX, so a 500w is more than fine

That is an amazing build but unfourtanetly im AMD Bred through and through I was raised on them i've had my 1.8ghz amd duron overclocked to 2.1ghz for 5 years now with out one single problem (did i mention ive dropped the comp on solid concrete from 5 feet and it powered on the next time i tryed to use it)

and ive just had to many bad experiences with intel built machines

so im pretty much set on my parts i just need to now if that power suppy (the one with modular support) has a good chance of screwing me over or should i go with the 99$ corsair http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139004

If you want the OCZ StealthXStream 600W get it from newegg for $40. It's posted as $55 after MIR but use this promo code to get another $15 off: EMCAGAFCC

Honestly that should do just fine for you. But if you go the Corsair route (higher quality, 5 year warranty, basically guaranteed to NOT fry your system several years down the road) then definitely get it from buy.com. They always have the cheapest Corsair PSU and free shipping on them. The Corsair VX550W for $75 would be perfect for your build. I have a pair of overclocked 3870's running with a heavily overclocked Intel quadcore Q6600 on an X38 motherboard, 4x1GB of RAM and 4 large case fans all powered by the VX550W, works great.

If you go 2x1GB of RAM, I highly recommend these sticks: 2x1GB Team DDR2 667 3-3-3-8-1T Micron D9GMH. Probably the best 2x1GB set on the market right now.

Get it at the Egg for sure, and don't skimp on the PSU!
