Need help deciding amongst three graphic cards

Hey guys,

I have a budget under $200, and would like to keep it lower if possible. Just read that newegg charges tax in NYC now..so that will have some affect on my choice. I just need some help, if paying that little extra is worth the boost in performance. Not looking to play the latest games at the highest frames possible, but just so I can enjoy my favorite games very smoothly. I'm on a E2140 overclocked slightly, playing on a monitor res of 1680 x 1050.

Here are the three choices that I've come up with:

9600GT

8800GT

HD3870

I would personally go with the 8800GT, may be worth a $20 more or so, but it does have added performance to make it better than the 9600gt in my opinion.

Between those three the 8800 GT and 3870 are close on par and the 9600 is on the slightly lower end. Heres a review: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...preview-5.html
Imo I would get the 8800.

Between those three, the 8800GT... although I would wait for the new ATI cards to drop if I were you.

I was wondering if I should wait for the HD 4xxx series, but the prices look a bit too high for me at the moment.

So I guess 8800GT it is. Thanks for all the help guys. Reps all 'round.

Edit:
Sadly I don't think I can get the 8800GT. With the new tax thing at newegg, it will cost me $191 as the final price. Way more than I wanted to spend. So I might just go with the cheapest option. Thanks anyway guys.
