Anyone else notice that the case is 'on'. Like fans and such, but the CPU doesn't even have a heatsink?

Now this is the kind of case where the Big Typhoon would work very well with the top fan blowing right down onto the heatsink. Sorta wish this case didn't look like an actual skeleton though.

EDIT: Thinking about it now... wouldn't the top fan sorta recirculate warm air since warm air rises?

Hmm...after reading the SPRC article I'm wondering if clearance will be an issue. While you're bound to run into it with just about any case it makes you wonder if the taller heatsinks will fit.

Just set the top fan to pull air up instead of push down, simple.

What difference would that make?

Instead of blowing the rising hot air back onto the system, it's sucking the air from the system and blowing it up. So, in a sense, creating a draft across the components while the air is being moved up away from the "case".

Basic thermaldynamics.

While I did ask a different question I guess we won't truly know until we get specs on the "case" but with regards to the recirculation of warm air you need to realise that most of the air blown by that top fan will hit the motherboard and be pushed out the open sides and then rise, potentially making that a moot point -unless- the CFM of that fan is too low to handle the massive amount of heat generated by an overclocked system.

Assuming it has enough oomph, I'm sure some warm air will rise up the amount should be negligible plus temperatures should be kept in check by the open design.

Check your temperatures while your case is closed compared to when you leave the side off.
