motherboards gone mad. big errors.

hi all .

i have no idea what night have caused this but it is the weerdist
thing i have come across .

motherboard is a asus p5k premium.

last time i used my computer it was working fine.
.
turns on computer.....no screen.....no post no nothing.

second attempt, screen comes on but computer crashes at post.

3rd attempt.... says ...as it was on the screen...

CPU OVERVOLTAGE....
CHASSIS INTRUSION ........
SYSTEM HALTED.............

4th attempt................this time i managed to get into the bios
so i looks in the system status for the temps and voltages.

...cpu temp.-5 its never been that low.

system temp.-1.
.

12v rail.......14.8v
5v rail............6.8v
3v rail............4.9v
...same goes ... not Normal....

so after all that, i get my multimeter out and test the 12v rail and the 5v rail...
ok 12v was 12.1 and 5v was 5.2v.....all normal....:headscarf

....one thing, is it possible that some water may have gotten on the Bord and damaged it, because i was doing stuff with my water cooling set up and some water did drip, but i did not see were it went.... i think it may be new motherboard time...
.

Hmm... leave off for 5mins, give it another go? it could of just been having PMS..

i spilt about 4ml of water coolant on a DS3P about 6 months ago, that didn't seem to effect it (although, i cleaned off what i could.)

the water damage is a possibility but PCB have a coat of like varnish or some crap on top of em to protect the circuit lines so unless you go water in a socket or something then you should be ok. I mean you dont see any water right. Also it prolly would have smoked on you or something lol but idk never had it happen...

I had that same problem at first...

What I did was put the new BIOS on a flash drive and on mine it showed up as the C: drive. I know you said it doesn't show it but does it at least show the c: drive?
