Q9300 with Swiftech Apogee GT Waterblock

Thread Starter
Hey everyone, I think I might have a problem. I am tyring to OC' my Q9300 and I keep looking @ my Core Temp program and it is telling me that my 4 cores are @ 58,58,55,55 now, I have all watercooling why is it so high? In BIOS the hardware monitor tells me the CPU is @ 34C which one do you think is right?

Use Real Temp for 45nm cpus.
any program you use will just be guesses on what the temp is also for some reason these 45nm quad cpu's have been reading fairly hot as is compared to most other cpu's with these guessing programs anyway.

Core temp can be adjusted for 45nm CPU's. Is that a full load or idle temp? My Apogee GT kept my Q9400 and X3330 under 50C full load but I have good ambients. Check your mount and make sure you have a good TIM (heatsink goop) application.
