[ShackNews] Crysis Warhead Revealed - Page 7

"well we aren't releasing anymore patches, what will we tell the community?"

"ermm errr hmm, BINGO! lets reveal a game that we are just going to start
working on. that sounds like a good excuse to get us out of the *****"

So obvious, they said no patch, people complained, they said "hey were doing this"

Bioshock, COD4, Assassins Creed, TF2, and Portal all have better graphics than Crysis IMHO. All of those games that I mentioned also have much MUCH better gameplay than Crysis too. I actually thought that Farcry had better gameplay than Crysis.

its just kinda sad how they blame the poor pc sales on pc piracy, when it has to do with the fact that it was coded by retarded monkeys and crashed a nasa supercomputer. i want to see how they're gonna make this game look good

Crysis Warhead will not run on the same DX10 engine
^^Quote from the first poster.
Is there a possibility of DX10.1 support in Warhead, like Assassin's Creed? If so, my next card may very well be an ATI..assuming nVidia doesn't wave their wallet again so it's only optimized for their cards.

It will obviously use the same engine. Why would crytek make a game on a different, competitors engine? That would make no sense.

However, assuming it is a new game; It's going to have some changes.

I really hope they do. Some company has to show Nvidia they won't let DX technology stand still just because Nvidia doesn't feel like doing AA on shaders.

I loved Crysis and I am excited for whatever this is. People said that the second half of Crysis was too linear and that ruined the fun. When I played through it, by the second half, I was so into the plot that I wanted to keep playing. Mabey this could be an expansion, thats what I'm betting on.
