I misspresented my question...

I was trying to say.. how do I overclock my laptop... It just sounded bad... you might had thought I referred to the desktop... Srry

You don't want to. Laptops already have heat problems. Overclocking it will only make those problems worse.

A Q6600 at 3.0ghz will be a massive increase in speed and power for my system. Plus it will be paired with another 8800GTS 512 at the end of July. I'm getting the B3 stepping at least with that you have a lower temp to throttle at 67C so you will not cause as much damage
