[Fud] Intel won't let Nvidia support Nehalem - Page 5

Nvidia can't win this at all. Or can they? If they give the license they loose to all who want that Intel chipset and cheaper boards and will hurt their own motherboard sales. If they don't there will be no way for them to be able to support us enthusiasts who want the new Intel chips. In the end, we all lose because Nvidia only creates X2 GPU's and charges double the price to make up for loses. Or Nvidia could focus on supporting AMD chips and can still offer SLI support. The options are endless, lol.

Isn't this what we are talking about? SLI? It's not like Intel is going to make you unable to use a single card solution from Nvidia. WE are all talking about SLI, soo....what does your post have to do with that by saying it only effects people with...S...L...I...

nVidia just fears that they lose a USP for their Chipsets.
And if Intel Chipsets have SLI support they really have to make good chipsets.
Not the overheating slow ones they do these days ;o)
You say this like they ever made anything else?

whats the point of having Intel-SLI chipsets and Nvidia-SLI chipsets at the same time.

Do you usually just post some random stuff you heard on a diff thread ? or what ?

SLi scales just fine for me and many others.. but thanks for telling everyone with SLi they are basically morons and wasted their money... well played
We all waste money on this site, We could stay with Stock Cooling, but we get large custom coolers, we all could run $80 mATX boards, but our boards cost more than most computers.

You miss something - Intel has Crossfire support.
So look at it as Intel will be making Crossfire + SLI and nVidia only SLI chipsets.

Who's going to buy Nvidia then? No one. If you get a better overclockable board, support for both CF and SLI, why go for the one that doesn't OC as well and doesn't support CF?

Who's going to buy Nvidia when they can't support the latest processors?

This is like... ANCIENT news... this has been talked about for months. I'm not sure why everyone here keeps acting like this hasn't been known for a long long time.

This is good news for AMD / ATI in my opinion

I think Nvidia deserved this in a way, for pushing too hard on Intel, they seem to forget Intel is a MASSIVE company, far greater than theirs
