With your system, why don't you just get a Q9XXX?

Hmm good point korosu...the reason I don't have a QX9650 or 9770 for that matter is I choose to buy a VapoChill LS first as it was modded already by JinPark got mine for $700. That's a great deal....I do need a better cpu...quad at that...I will go for a qx9650...

I have a second Asus Maximus Extreme mb...that I could sell for $350+sell my old 8800gtx w/block and cpu for a qx9650...BUT~!!!

$350 is about what I need to pay for a certification in CAD/CAM design...that will help me get a $80k+ job position...then I will be ready to add the quad, a water a/c chiller with my already AquaComputer XT...and some water blocks for chipsets, mosfets, regulators, two ek vga blocks, a koolance liquid cooled psu....then it's " DICE TIME "...going for the top 3Dmark06 & Vantage scores...

I just ordered a 3870 to tide me over until the 4870, they are literally hitting the floor in price drops already. Got a Diamond 3870 All copper dual slot cooler 512 for around 139$ AR, that is just insane. My 8800GT overheats way to much and I'm not even overclocking it right now. Secondly I did that because I really don't like Nvidia cards, you can show me benches all day but in the end the ATI cards look better (graphically) and run better IMO.

It already happened. The Q6700 is $266.
