I need a silent build by the end of the week! - Page 3

Here is a build for you,
https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/P...Title=computer

800$. spend 60$ on a noctua heatsink, 40-60$ on 2-3 new fans [noctua's are expensive] and you're buy self a HR-03 GT [52$], and you're set.

if you dont wanna spend 60$ on 3 fans, check out the slipstreams [8$, 40CFM, 10 DB].

so, 800$, plus+ 50$ for the HR-03 GT, + 40-50$ for slip stream fans [4-5], + 60$ for noctua heatsink is 950$, before MIR, and shipping. you can always buy the accelero for 30$ and save 20$ on a GPU heatsink, http://www.petrastechshop.com/accoacs1re2.html

if you're going with the TRUE, get some slip stremes, 40CFM at 10 DB is pretty untouchable, unless you get the noctua's. you have to remember, when you place a fan against a fan grill, the sound will increase, so for example if you go for the 68CFM/25 DB, you'll hear it, but only a little. i use to have the scythe 63 CFM/28 DB s-flex's and they got above a whisper when pushing out hot air. if you wanna see the 68/25 slipstreams, here they are

Get the Lian Li PC-7 plus. I have it and it is pretty damn quiet. If you want smaller, get the PC-A05
