Ah silent pc's. I didn't even know there was section for quite pc's on overclock. LOL!!!

I would buy any parts phospholipid mentioned. Silentpcreview is an awesome place for quite review parts. Here's a pic of my rig. Parts are easily identifiable.

is there a similar heatsink/heatpipe like the Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev 2 for the 9600gt?

Temp on the vid 24/7 @ idle is 46c, underload 65c.

I have to say the noisiest thing is my Raptor, even in a scythe silence box I can still hear a slight rumble on loads.

I really want to get an SSD drive, but is way to expense. I'm looking into getting the new 2.5" 300 Gig Raptor. I've read its faster then the 3.5" Raps, and quite as he11.

I'd say go with motherboard

As for your PSU question, from what i understand from enermax and other sites, the fan doesn't really rev up to till you hit 350 watts, so you're fine either way PSU you get [the 425 or the 525].
The GT needs minimum 400W and 22A on the +12V rail(s). According to EVGA, but on test charts, a single GT with a system at load wont go over 250 watts, so I say you're more then fine. [found here]

Hrmm, I wish you'd go with a mid/full size case. that would open up your air flow and your motherboard choices much. like this lian-li case for 90$

I think you need to disable the spectrum thing on the raptor. (jumpers)

When I first got my three raptors, they were very very noisy. But I read it up on the WD site, and change the jumper setting.
Now I can put my ear next to it and not hear a thing.

I can attest the nocutas being very quiet at the rated voltage. I got a small hum when I dropped them to 5v. As long as you power if through the mobo or PSU 4pin ur good.

If you want silent, put the money towards the PSU. Second would be the CPU cooler and video card cooler. PSU is usually the loudest thing besides when the HDD revs up.
