Memrory issue?

Hello everyone...

I have an issue and i dont know if its my ram or if its another device. My story is that i was backing up some dvd movies(DvdFab Platinum) i have and at stock speeds i would rip and burn a copy in 30 mins or less(dvd-5). Then after i overclocked my cpu up to 3ghz with a fsb of 1333mhz and i figured i would be able to make a copy faster. but in my case its taking longer. Should i overclock my ram as well and if so what to do? (By the way i ran prime95 for 6 hours and nothing went wrong wth the overclocking of the cpu.)

Thank you in advance!

are you comparing the same titles or 2 different ones, I backup my library and some are fast some are slow it depends how long the movie is what audio is on the disc etc. Run super pi stock then overcloced look at the time difference

I would try restore your defaults and test first, then work your way back to overclock settings. You want to be running a 1:1 ratio so if your FSB is 1333 set the MEM (DDR) MHZ to 666.5.

Ideally you want CPU-Z to read 1:1 which it will if you change your FSB to 1333 and set the MEM (DDR) MHZ to 666.5. Just a suggestion to revert to defaults to see if it is a setting you adjusted thats causing the slow DVD copy.
