I was wondering if it was a Voltage issue? Or if it's my motherboard. I know that my mobo is bad for OC'ing quads but i still would like to hit 3.2ghz, as I seen many others achieve it with my board. FYI, I'm running on 1203 BIOS.
I couldn't get my Q6700 to be stable at almost anything with that board. I could boot into Windows but it would always lock up eventually. A few have gotten lucky with it.
I do know that I had better results using the latest BIOS (1404) so you might try that. One good thing about that board is that it flashes the BIOS well and fast, so it's easy to go back to 1203 if you want.
Basically the board doesn't OC quads well. What do you have your vcore, NB, SB, VTT etc. set at?Edited by GoneTomorrow - 6/4/08 at 9:23pm
