How to force vsync in Guitar Hero 3.

I'm getting ~35FPS average, yet it's really jittery for me. How do I force it to run at 30FPS?

Also a fix for Audio-surf if you know that too.

Vsync prevents screen tearing. AFAIK it does not stop "jittering".

GH3 doesn't perform very well on older, single core CPU's. I also have a P4 Prescott and the performance gets a little crappy at times. Your video card is also pretty bad, that would contribute to the jerkiness.

I know that, but I'm running this in excess of 30FPS, so there shouldnt be any jerkyness. However, because the framerate is fluctuating between 30 and 40FPs when the game was designed to run at (60?), it's going to make some jittery screen action. H2V is similar.

LOW STRIFE!!! Representing H3F!

Its Leetums lol.

And yea, thats why they reccomend the 8800GT or something for this game, this way its ALWAYS smooth and what not.

I get a constant 60fps though when i play. Try overclocking.
