Whatever you say. I understand that you are attempting to attack character by gross exageration since you have nothing useful to say, but it's still sad.

But you can only play online with the gold account can't you?

Did you even read what I wrote? I never said it wasn't buggy. I am asking for people to show how console errors have anything to do with in-game bugs or optimization, among other things
Sorry for the confusion lol It was sarcasm, i was taking a small problem and making out that it made Crysis as a whole fail. I mean, this is what these guys are doing.

You all see a bunch of code in a console and say it is badly coded, which is a fair stance. But like Stargate has stated, none of it has actually affected your gameplay yet you still moan about it. I still haven't seen a valid counter argument to his point, you just continue to mock him and rile him up.

He isn't trying to start a flame war, he is putting his opinion across. And quite frankly it needs to be done, at the moment you are all just mimicking each other and making unfounded claims.

Look guys, the fact that several people have made cutom configurations that offer more FPS at pretty much the same detail level as the stock ones is a good indication that further optimizations could have been made.

Stargate, weather your right or wrong in any thread is not the point. Your rude, snide and have a poor attitude and attack anyone that disagrees with you on any subject. You attack peoples "character" and pretend everyone is attacking yours. They attack you because of your online attitude. It is apparent you welcome arguments and I'm not exaggerating.

You want proof of Cyrsis not being optimized properly? Here's a quick example: Company "A" designs a game that's "above all others" in graphics, AI and what not. Company "B" designs a game that is a bit lower in the graphics but is able to play on almost every up to date PC on market on high and ultra-high settings. Move forward a few weeks after release. Now Company "A"'s game starts getting large numbers of unhappy customers, but wow the graphics sure are pretty but there are still constant crashes, characters falling thru floors, glitches left and right. Company "B"'s game while not as pretty gets rave reviews and customers want more. The only thing people want from Company "A"'s game is patches to fix whatever is constantly making it crash, but of course patches to fix the issues are slow coming.

What could be the problem here? Did Company "A" rush the release of the ultimate game or is so uber awesome no one's PC can handle it? The simplest and more logical answer is the game was rushed and not tested properly before release. Now I understand that just is impossible to comprehend, but I bet it's the truth.

Now let's move on to Company "B". While the game has it's issues and what not, the buying public are generally happy with the game and really want more add-ons than patches. What ever problems the game is having is mostly over looked. The company realizes this and makes a patch to solve the issues and in a timely manner plus creating new add-on content that the players love.

Ok, so now did Company "B" take their time and test the game before release or were they just lucky the game worked well on gamers PC's? The simplest and more logical answer is the game was properly tested and not rushed like Company "A" game. The point of Company "A" being so ultimately uber awesome is not the question, but rather why did it run so poorly on any PC is was installed on? Be it low end or a high end gaming rig?

If it was optimized properly it would have work well on a low end or high end system given proper graphic settings, but it did not. The problem isn't how pretty the game looks, but why are people running high end video cards not getting the most out of the game? Why are new video cards released months after Company "A" game was released still not able to max out the settings? The simplest and more logical answer ..... the game was not properly optimized. is really that hard to understand?

actually far cry ran well on release. Even on my mx420 i could run it on medium settings at my native res wich was 1024x768 at the time. The 6800 series dominated the game.

I don't plan on getting into this argument and I've never had a crysis glitch or bug, this sounds weird to me. Remember when cevat yerli complained of piracy on the PC? Then afterwards say they were no longer a PC only company? Whats up with this? And another thing, do they expect me to pay for the online? Because I bought and played halo 2 for PC, and you will NEVER get me to pay for crippled online capabilities for my PC. I can understand it with the 360(and rumors are its going to happen to the PS3 too) but not my baby.

We'll see.

I agree more optimizations should have been made but not your reasoning. HL2 has a ton of configurations and mods, that doesn't make it a bad game.

I played and beat Crysis and never had a single issue either.

(I'm just stating my experience and do not want to be part of the useless argument)

I think Crytek's CryENGINE could have been worked on a bit more. What it can do in game is amazing, but it was to hard on too many systems. I'll be more than happy to play part two. I just hope the bugs are worked out and the characters will not get stuck in cars and jump around when you load a saved game ....and I want to control more tanks
