Ya two 9600gt are better than 1 8800 ultras but two 8800 ultra would trash two 9600gt same as two 8800gt

The best the 9 series has done so far is the 9800GX2
the 9800 GTX is only 5% better than a 8800GTS 512 even tho a 8800 GTS will overclock better

9800GTX performs about the same as the 8800GTS when clocks are matched. Both use the same basic G92 core with the full 128 SP.
Once again...

I was going off your system spec that says you have 2 8800gt''s if you are going to run this set up i would say getting a 750w to give you plenty of head room
Look @ power consumption calculator in sig

You can run SLi quite easily with a 500w PSU, yet alone a 600w

Not for a 7F error.

He already passed all the memory checks.

I bet his system is using near to 500 watts

Q6600 = 95w - 105w
two Gpu's G92 = 250w avg
i don't know the power out put of hdd's and everything else

but 355w just on cpu and gpu he's only got 300 to play with
