Ninja Gaiden II is a great game and a maddening one. In some respects, it improves upon the core Ninja Gaiden gameplay to exhilarating effect. It's flashier and it's bloodier, and when those enhancements are in full force, the game offers the best action available on the platform. You de-limb werewolves and slice up legions of rival ninjas and demons, and pulling off these moves produces a gory, showy explosion of particles and body parts. And, as any fan of its Xbox and PlayStation 3 predecessors should expect, it's incredibly difficult, which makes a successful confrontation still one of the most rewarding moments in all of action gaming.

Wow - I didn't know the game was comming out this soon. There was like, what, 1 trailer ever for it?

Somewhat disapointing considering Gaiden on the PS3 was frikken awsome.

Playing it right now (or 5 minutes ago) and am completely in love with the game.

Do yourself a favor, if you've never played the first ninja gaiden, start on easy (acolyte). The game is ridiculously hard (but in a good way), even on normal.

I'm quite impressed, with the only drawback in my opinion being a sometimes frustrating camera, but one which is easily controllable back to a more manageable position by the player.

I doubt it's that hard. You have never experienced hard until you've played Devil May Cry 3 on Dante Must Die mode. And I flew through that too.

You have never experienced hard unless you've played the Contras (hardest games ever made?)

But yea, this game is pretty good, I loved the first one and its looking like I'll love this one too.
