[Project] Antec 300 W/C

Hey gents i figured i start posting now that my major bit is done on my case, im still waiting for some bits, ill edit when i get them.
Total system is for my Sig Rig with this extra hardware:
--Swiftech MCP655
--D-TEK FuZion v2
--DTek High Flow Fittings 1/2in ID
--HW Labs Black Ice Pro III Triple 120mm (used because of space in the case)
--T line (copper)
--1 more Raptor 150gig
--120mm fans all-round
--I wanna try get as close to 4Ghz with my Quad as i can

--Heres my Idea!--

Heres the hardware i have so far:

Heres where i want my rad:

!PROBLEM TIME!

I cant get 140mm fans from : http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/
They dont stock them, and i could not get my Paypal account to work, so i was stuck with them.(not that im complaining, They are Great! )

Heres what the 140mm vent in the top of my case would look like covered by a 140mm fan(i have only 1 fan) :

But this hole:

Is horribly to big for 120mm Locally available fans example:

So heres what I, (with the help of OCN!) came up with: (there will be 3 fans not 2)

I got ahold of a local plastic place, and for R50 (about $11) and got a piece of black, 5mm thick perspex:

LOL, Why he sleeps there Humans will never know!

I measured twice, and did pilot holes to start cutting.
Again i was stumped when i tried to cut that perspex, a jigsaw is a bit too hardcore, and could cause cracking of the plastic! A mate of mine simply provided me the solution, Chain drilling!!! :

An hour and a half later : LOL

SO the course cut-out is done, so i filed it square, and had a bevel edge done by the Plastic shop, while i order my new fans!

Here is what things look like so far: (fans will be here tomorrow, 9 hours time or so )

Ill update tomorrow!
Let me know what you guys think! Thanks for reading!

Chain drilling was painfull, you cant just speed through the perspex, or it chips and grips!
my last chain drilling experience was a 8" hole in the Rear support wall of a pickup! (for a rockford sub! lol 4mm drill bit!)

Hey gents everything came today! so i got busy with the rad!
Shipping took 4 days! (USA to SA) thats pretty good, and my box was still sealed, lol. Thumb up to sidewindercomputers and USPS!
Heres what i got:

Thats :
-3 120mm "dont stick you finger in here or you'll be sorry grills"
-2 Sunon 120mmX25mm 3000rpm Fans
-3 Sunon 120X38mm 3100rpm 107CFM Fans

I also got the bevel edge done on my perspex cover/adapter done
Here me measuring for fan holes:

I measured about a dozen times, and still had to oversize holes by 1mm(tisk!)
Assembly as quick and Easy, ran the fan wires through the rad so it looks sleek outside!

Next was the 12 counter sunk bolts to the case top:

Just used nuts and screws to keep things tidy.

Today finished work!!

and the close-up (bad camera i know)

I got my pump and stuff today, so ill be updating tomorrow again!.

Well done on the cutting. Nice improvisation

EDIT : Using a blade with high TPI. typically >14 had always proved to yield smooth cuts for me. I have a cheap jigsaw but I spent a little and got the BOSCH blades. All u need is to make sure that the acrylic is tightly clamped down to keep vibration to a minimum.

Just a little FYI, I've cut a lot of different types of plastic (particularly acrylic) with a jigsaw; the key thing prevent chipping is to use a high-TPI metal blade; wood blades are too aggressive.

Otherwise, looks like it'll be an interesting build.
