...I don't know where your from but you might wanna work on your English buddy. (No insult intended!) But i did get something about a new architecture. K10.5 i believe is what you are referring to, it isn't a new architecture though its an update on K10.

You may be thinking of Bulldozer - that's estimated late 09 at best. Provided they can match that and expectations, it might be able to compete.

Which means it would be competing with Intel parts released about a year earlier. By then, Intel is half-way to the 32nm die shrink as AMD rolls out its first 45 nm's

For AMD's sake, HD4xx0 series had better generate some real revenue, because the OEM builders are favoring Intel just as much as the Enthusiast. (Centrino = household name, Turion = not)

I personally hope both companies do well, and lower power consumption... and it frankly looks like AMD is going in the wrong direction

seeing these prices is very exciting... wait 3 months it will come down a bit and then I will consider the Jump to DDR3 and Quad

i hope amd can keep up though... without them Intel wont need to worry about pricing....

"allot" or "alot" isn't actually a word, it's common slang. It should be spelt "a lot". Just so you know.

It could potentially speed it up, but it wouldn't be enough to outweigh the costs of adding it. Cache takes up a lot of die space.

AMD can't compete on silicon process, they never could. They did beat the P4 even though it was on a newer, smaller silicon process, just by virtue of having a better architecture.

They don't have either now, but Bulldozer might have one of those two. I mean, they pulled it off in the past, they can do it now, too. Who knows. It's too far off for me anyways, but the ones with Q9450s and the like might be more interested in the Westmere/Bulldozer comparison.
