Oh, you'll hit that easily. I had my E2180 at 3.0GHz with only 1.4v.

I also flashed to newest bios. vcore sticks now. Quick question, not to hijack , but what does it mean when one worker thread fails and the other doesnt? ( prime 95) 3.8 at 1.36 or so. not on the comp right now.

So probably more vcore? memory is .3v over , MCH .1v over. CPU not stable or mem? I need to get mem test. How do I find memory voltage before my .3v is added in , like stock voltage.

Thread Starter
To find out the voltage that your memory is supposed to run at you will have to look at Newegg or the G.Skill website. The EP35-DS3L has the voltage for memory defaulted to 1.8volts, and if your memory is supposed to have 2.0 volts then just bump it to +0.2 until it blinks and think about increasing it a little more.

As far as your Vcore for your processor you will likely need more voltage to achieve that clock speed. 1.40 volts or better I bet, but take it up slowly as to not use any more voltage then necessary.

Alright. Thank you euphoric. Newegg shows that memory as 2.1v.

The beta bios seems to have fixed my vcore. I am running my E8400 @4.0ghz with fsb @ 445. Volts holding at 1.36. I haven't really stressed tested it other than several successful 3DMark06 runs and many hours of BF2. I'll run Prime95 later.
