(edit:I am buying this right now)I need a new board that will handle the e8400

Let me start this out with I love my dfi blood iron, but if I buy one off newegg it might not have the newest bios and I don't have a cpu to flash it. So what board is going to perform like the blood iron, and be around $100 give or take 10-15 bucks. I don't need crossfire or sli, so that doesn't matter.

I need at least 470 fsb+, and instant compatibility with an E8400 as I have NO access to any 65nm cpus.

Another question any clue if that good p35 gigabyte will or if the dfi p35 DK will run an e8400 with stock bios?

DK P35 T2RS correct? then yes I got it from newegg on tuesday and it ran my Q9450 with the factory bios so your E8400 will work also. It came with the bios version from 3/11/08 incase your wondering

So I would want the new one right? not open box.
id get a box'd one if you can. less chance of something being missing (though there's a good chance youll get everything that comes with it even if it is open box)

The Gigabyte EP35 DS3R/DS3L will work with the 45nm CPUs out of the box. Notice there is an "E" in front. That is for the new energy efficeint board.

Which one is better the R or the L and why?
DS3R has RAID and DS3L doesn't. As far as OC, they are the same.
