The rad is a 120.3 Thermochill rad, so It is big! I thought of so many different ways to mount the rad, and almost mounted it on the inside of the motherboard tray/side panel. But it wouyldnt be very sturdy since I would have to cut the case quite a bit. So I fit it the best way I could and just mounted the fan controller in the top bay as it is only about 2" long.

Hey, sorry for reviving a dead thread...
but I just built my computer using the rocketfish case and bought a Lian-Li EX-33b... but came to a problem... I can't remove the damned aluminum divider to stick the Hard drive converter in... any advice on that? I just got so frustrated that I just threw the damn thing back in it's box... but I realize I need more airflow and still want to get the damn thing into my case... any ideas?

Well there are serveral ways to do it. You can drill out the rivets and then you have access to those screws. I removed the front cover and then found the thinest Philips screwdriver I had that would work with the screw and drilled a 3/16 inch hole in frame in front of the screw. Then just insert screwdriver and turn. The last option is get a dremel and cut between the pieces of metal.

It's actually listed as a HDD converter kit... converts 3 5.25" drive bays into 3 3.5" bays and has a 120mm fan... it has a black mesh(can't think of the word right now) face... Lian Li EX-33B (A version is the silver one)

However, the divider sitting in the bottom aluminum slot becomes a problem.

HMM I don't know how to quote multiple people

Ounderfla69:

So essentially I have to take off the front panel, drill a hole and then unscrew the screw? hmms... thanks.
Anyone else have any ideas? Otherwise I guess im going thru with this one.. THANKS!

I just removed mine by using an "S" bend screw driver.

That's GENIUS!
Didn't even think of that... now the problem becomes... where do I buy an S bend screwdriver?
I have an S bend something or other... but it isn't a screwdriver
It's just some hexagon shaped thing

You should be able to get them from any major hardware store. They cost almost nothing.

I'm really digging how you modded the bottom of another Rocketfish to use as the middle divider. I've got one pristine Rocketfish that I won't touch so I can sell it, but the other case I have will probably go under the saw.

Kickass idea. + for that.
