Want a new Motherboard

Thread Starter
Hi,

I am looking at getting a new motherboard and a Q6600. I'm not sure what chipset to go with and what will be future proof. I am also getting an 9800Gx2 if that makes any difference.

my price limit is about £180 but cheaper would be better.

Thanks

Stick with Intel P35/X38/X48 chipset as possible if you don't SLI.

Asus P5E, Gigabyte X38-DS4 or DFI LP LT/UT X38.

Your current board is P5KC? It should be fine.
