TRUE installed.. Ambients increased.. how temps look?

VCore 1.216

Realtemp

One core idles at 32-33 other core 37(never goes below 37 is it stuck at 37 min?)

30min of prime small ffts
both 51-53C

I tested my ambient temps in a few locations. Underneath case 73-74, back of case 73-74, top of case 78-79, front of case 78-79. The 73-74 is because it sits near a vent. I have intake fans in the front / back / bottom (2 front, 1 back, 1 bottom)

How do these temps look at that vcore considering my ambients?

Looks fairly typical for stock speeds at that vcore.

Looks high to me. You should get better idles than that by about 3-5C, especially on a 45nm, might want a reseat. Load isnt too bad, but I think a nice bearing mod will help you stabilize the temps on the one stuck at 37C. After a pressure mod, expect 2C off idle, 3C or so off load, and if you decide to lap another 2-3C or so off idle and 3-5C off load.

yeah my temps are kinda hot again... I don't get it I think my e8400 just runs hot. Doing a test on OCCT (custom 2hr mix) and 10 min in it hits 64, 54 by realtemp.

My overclock is 4.1GHz with vcore 1.22..

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong with seating my heatsink... too much as5 too little how do you tell? I've tried a little i've tried a lot nothing changes.

Maybe I should do the bearing mod, can't you use a penny?

Started a new test and 5 min in temps at 53C according to realtemp

If your in a stock rocketfish then thats your problem, not much airflow. But im still using my Aspire Superalien with like 6 80mm fans. With a 120mm attached to the TRUE. I am getting 44-45 under 100% load at 1.23 volts. Maybe a re-seat is in order.

Oh sorry i forgot to mention my fans. 2 120MM on top 2 120mm in back 1 120mm on bottom 2 120mm in front. 120mm on true

Case fans are scythe slip streams 110cfm i think.. and the fan on the true is scythe ultra kaze 2000.

I don't know what a re-seat is going to do... because i've tried very little as5.. lot of as5.. in the middle.. temps are always the same.

Perhaps i'm not using the right amount of as5 still.

1.25 vcore ... idle temps 37/35
2 min of OCCT testing temps at 55

Temps are all from realtemp

I reseated/reapplied grease.

I just don't know what the problem is, the true basically cut 2-3C off my vendetta 2. But i reseated it 5-7 times

My room is 78F at the moment if that helps ..

another reseat.. this time using much less as5... temps are much hotter... So the problem isn't me using too little

finally i think i got it right. Running prime 95 it shot up to 45C in a few seconds and stayed there, usually it shot up to 53-55 in those seconds. it was only able to run for 5 minutes before getting an error 1.25vcore but the temps were 46-48C So a 8-10C improvement in load temps.

Do those temps now look right? My room is now about 74-75F
