It would likely depend on whether your OCing or not. Some BIOS will default to a lower speed if the RAM is OCed to far.
Otherwise, Phenoms have the option to set the RAM at a default of 1066 in the BIOS and should show up in the CPU-Z ''Memory" tab @ 533MHz.

I haven't tried OCing it yet. And

This what I found in the BIOS

in Genie BIOS Settings

Memory current value DDR 800

X Memory Clock value or Limit DDR 400 (this is grayed out)

I didn't find anything to set the RAM to 1066

Edit: I figured it out; You have to set the Timing Mode to manual and then you can do it, duh. *smacks self upside head* But the weird thing it when I look in CPU-Z on the memorry tab it does say 533Mhz but if I go to the SPD tab and look and one of the slots, it still says "Max Bandwidth: PC2-6400 (400 Mhz)"

I'm not sure, but I think that SPD tab is supposed to tell you what timings to run at what speed?

Someone please correct me.

Good find Coltsrock.

I don't know if its my motherboard or CPU but I tried using AOD to OC my CPU and I was able to OC CPU1 to 2.7 (13.5 x 200), CPU 2 to 2.7 (13.5 x 200), CPU 3 to 2.6 (13 x 200). I wan't able to OC CPU 0 at all (stuck at 12.5 x 200). I tried this because I haven't been able to OC my CPU at all in the Bios. Same thing when I used AOD and tried to OC all the cores at the same time. Seems like I am the only one with this problem. I've seem others complain Because they can't OC their CPU past 2.7 on all cores. I think they are lucky because I can't past 2.5 on all cores.

Hmmm...I think my board is a dud then...right now I have the same board...same cpu...same ram...and HD3870 by asus...my problem w/this board is it wont OC...otherwise I'm clearing bios just to get it to boot...even if it boots my oc setting (multi @ 14...HT Bus @ 208) the xp either freezes or it reboots (attempts to )...even when xp reboots itself...the bios hangs...i reflashed bios to the newest rev to d7ld305...still same and now my video card is failing dxdiag's directdraw and direct3d....did u have this problem or it's just me?

I can get it to boot into Vista @13 X 200, but it freezes after about 30sec. Anything past that my system crashes before it gets to windows. In most cases i can still get back into the Bios to make changes. The only time I had to clear the Bios is when I tried 14.5 x 200 just to see what would happen. I was about to boot into windows and run 3DMARK06 at 12.5 X 205, but my system crashed after 30 min. The only OC I have been able to do is in AMD Overdrive. And it wasn't that much. I stuck!
