Here's the OverDrive screen shot:

The temps are a bit high for idle because they turn-off the office air-con over night to save power so the ambient temp goes up to about 30c on a warm day!

I reseated my CPU and now it is idling 3C hotter

Probably because I scratched the heat sink surface while cleaning the old paste off it. But I have no idea how it happened, how the hell do you scratch metal with paper towel? It doesn't make any sense. Maybe it was there before I cleaned off the paste, it was on there really thick so maybe it was covering it up.

O and the thermal paste I used wasn't arctic silver 5 it just said "Arctic Silver" must be a lot older than I thought.

I am going to order the XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 on Thursday, and some AS5 because this is just ridiculous. It's idling at 42C and I have a 12inch box fan, set on high blowing on it.

I run low 40's at idle as well OC to 2.8G. I think it's just a hot chip.

You may be right regarding OCing each vore separately, but I don't know how much I would want my cores to vary in temps. Heat does strange things to matter. . .

The reason you are only seeing 3g is because you are running windows XP. If you where running the 64bit version then you would see 4gigs. On my system in Vista 32 it shows 3gigs and in Vista 64 it shows all 4gigs.
