The only MMORPG Ive ever been able to play consistently was EvE Online. I also went through an anarchy online phase but I lost interest. Im still in love with eve and just wish I had the time to make buying a subscription worth it

WoW. It's well developed, lots of content, lots of help, lots of usefull addons. You can even illegally buy your high level toon & gold if you don't want to grind for months. Basically, it is highly developed, supported (formally and informally) and the standard for MMO's right now.

AoC. Has potential, but feels "unfinished". Graphics are better than WoW, but the world seems tiny and just limited atm. It may be good once they get the kinks out, add content, and get the modders making addons; but I don't see it coming of age for at least another six months or so.

Eve Online: can't say too much. Tried it a month. It was so freaking slow paced I got bored. But it was huge, pretty, and seems to be well developed.

Tabla Rosa? bought it. Tried it for a bit. Hated it.

Just hit max level (80) in age of conan, games been out for about 2-3 weeks (Note - I play atleast 12 hours a day.. so don't expect to get there near as fast). Theres no content for us 80s.. well there is, but theres no drops yet. They said there will be within a few weeks.
Age of Conan has an incredible amount of bugs at the moment and considering the end game content is nigh non-existent, it's pretty impossible to rate it at the moment. In the future? Maybe, not right now though.

Eve is okay but the player base is small and I found it difficult to remain engaged for too long.

EQ2 sucks. It's the original Everquest rehashed with "better" graphics and awful gameplay.

Never played Lineage 2 or FFXI.

My vote goes to World of Warcraft though. There is so much to keep you occupied in the game as of now you can hardly get bored of it. This is of course due to the fact that it has been out almost 4 years since beta and most would argue that the graphics are outdated. However, I believe when you play the game you hardly notice the graphics are a little old school and dare I say you begin to appreciate them. Now with Wrath of the Lich King around the corner as well there is a lot of content to come.

Eve is good for a while..but it quickly gets old as how small you are in a huge university of people who have played for years...i heard it takes like 29 years to train all the skills..which in my opinion take too long to do but whatever..after a few weeks i stopped cause it was getting boring and kept getting pwned in my retriever!

Eve Online is a very good game, but it takes some time to learn (which is a positive thing in my book). Also has those real-time trainings, that you can't speed up, no matter how often you play, you will always be behind the people that were there from the start.

If you like complicated MMORPG's try Anarchy Online (I know the graphics are outdated, but it's just a very good game).

I liked WoW till I made max level and (at that time) raiding Molten Core for 500 times and still didn't have all the gear; I tried returning a couple of times, made max level again, but each time just got boring too fast.

I just started Age of Conan this weekend, it seems good, made two toons to see what I like best (Necro and Priest). Both are 24 now and it seems @ 20+ the fun is just starting Hope it stays that way! Oh and I tried melee toons as well, but I'm always more the mystic kinda player

I also seem to come back to Ragnarok once a year or so, that game can be fun as well (especially if you never played it before).

played Lineage II around a year ago and it was a pain to level up... used to play the first gen RO like 4 years ago (or maybe 5... can't remember) was pretty good at the time... heard they have changed over the years, so might give it a try again after my exams
