What cooler for e7200 @ 3600Mhz - Page 2

I personally would still go for a tower type cooler. They are cheaper and perform far better than the 9700. Nevertheless it is still a good cooler and it does look very nice.

With the 45nm processors, any good cooler will work.

With my E8400 at 1.34, I load 58c with Zalman 9700.
50ish with Vandetta 2 and 47ish with TRUE.

There is no reason in my option to buy a TRUE for 45nm dual core unless you just have one lying around.

The Vandetta 2 can be had at buy.com for 38 shipped. Tuniq Tower also works very well.

I have always said this, voltage increase will kill the 45nm processor way before it reaches temperature problems.

Just buy a OCZ or Tuniq Tower.

Well..I must admit I was going for the looks too..
Vendetta 2 is nice, and XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 too... Xigmatec is so cheap, yet silent and great performance, almost identical look as Vendetta2... I`ve been looking reviews and Xigmatek is around 600grams with fan, which is great...Fins are spaced for more airflow etc...etc...

So, after reading reviews I saw these two were great...On frostytech.com it is the best of all, so I guess it is better than Vendetta2?
