HI guys, this is my first post, basically ive got hold of a striker extreme 680i w/ a water cooling setup and a kandalf extreme case for a cheap price from a friend. Now basically i ordered an e2160 got it, overclocked it to 3.4ghz and its currently working fine. However, the problem im having is im getting 3 differrent results from 3 different programs. Asus Booster, CPU-Z and Cputemp are giving me different results.

Look at the image below, im getting different vcores and temps!!!

Could anyone here explain which one will be the real result based on the clock speed and the images below... and if its the lower temps/voltages that are correct then i might push for 3.6ghz xD

Hey, welcome to Overclock.net, and nice work so far!

What are your load readings? Though idle are not unimportant, generally we use load to see where the system would be under a high-stress situation, where it is more likley that your stability could break down.

Orthos is a great tool to push your system as hard as possible to check for stability and also to get the CPU nice and warm to see what kind of headroom you have with voltage.

I have ran orthos for around 60mins then took these temperature monitors (forgot to upload the image earlier), notice how the temperature is lower in the asus tool compared with coretemp, which one is telling the true temp?

CPU TEMP LOAD: 78C
ASUS AIBOOSTER: 68C

The test was a 60 min small fft test so it stressed the cpu only!

Ok i found out the AI booster is telling the real temp as i installed realtemp also to see, and the temps were the same as each other. Now the question is, is Asus telling me the real Vcore or is CPUZ based on the images above, i cant tell but i think cpuz may be the correct answer
