How do you know that your drive configuration is causing a BSOD? What kind of BSOD? Have you run memtest to make sure your RAM is good?

I think because he had his rig set up before and upgraded to RAID because he has his 3DMark with his current rig...

But yea alot of thing could be causing it so like he said run memtest and for the hell of it try taking one stick out then replacing it if first dont work...

also what does bsod say? does it say irql_not_less_or_equal_to? if so thats usually RAM... so try what we suggested first

Generally, when you have a single drive, I'm not sure if you can "migrate" to RAID-0... I believe RAID-0 requires a reformat... so adding just a drive will not set up RAID0 automatically...

I think he is reformatting because hes trying to install OS. Also I dont think you would get a BSOD I think you get some kinda HDD failure. But yes you definitely cannot just add another drive you have to format both and clean install

yea ive seen that before i forget what i did tho....

I think mine was my OC but you said that its all back to stock...

after you configured it in the BIOS did you go into the RAID utility and set it up?

On mine after POST screen it says hit F10 to enter RAID setup utility does yours have something like this?

Also try putting old HDD back on and just adding the new ones as slaves then going into windows and try formatting them then try clean install again

Also make sure you have the most recent BIOS version

i think i found my problem out now, it seems my RAID drivers on floppy disk was corrupted during the copy process from CD to floppy. so it caused some problems when trying to install windows
