Good, ATI has had it for over a year. Time to hand over the baton.

I agree. I am pretty sick of all the blind nvidia fanboyism. Very few people give ATI the credit they deserve. Sure nvidia has had some really good cards out and some that were (are) , dollar for dollar, the same if not better than ATI, but be real people. It goes back and forth. Every time one company outperforms the other, we should all be happy as clams. Lower prices FTW

I think it is all the news posts since we are on the dawn of next gen cards. Every time this happens with CPUs/GPUs it gets like this. I am just waiting to see the "Lets bash Intel" train in the next few years. Curious as to who will be riding that one

I really couldnt care what NVidia do. If they want to ruin ATI's chances with things then so be it.. If they want to assign a spy then so be it.. They make good card! At first there highly priced but what can we expect..

Anyone that switches to ATI because of stupid things like that need

i don't understand whats wrong with nvidia enforcing their nda. they have an upcoming product that they want to cast in the best possible light, and leaks not only undermine that, they also hurt sales of the 8/9 series cards.

So you don't think there is any point to supporting a company based on other things besides the product? There are many other things that matter in life. Some people like to know that their money is going to a company that has some sort of moral compass or good cutomer service or is environmentally friendly etc., etc. Its great that all YOU care about is product, but don't condemn others for wanting more.

edit: I bet you wear Nike's and shop at Walmart too

^ very true im devout ATI now, but if something is better its usually hard to prove the opposite...

as for the brands, i think nvidia and ATI have pretty much the same. lets do a run down: (major manufactures only)

nvidia: bfg evga xfx zotac gigabyte msi PNY asus leadtek palit jaton
ati: gecube, HIS visiontek gigabyte asus msi sapphire diamond powercolor ATI

11 vs 10. not bad

seems pretty equal then the amount of really really weird NDA protection policies per company

They are making sure that everyone is obiding by their NDA. It is their product ffs.... I hate people bashing Nvidia now just because they do anything to stop a problem in sales or the release of a product.

It seems like a "Lets bash Nvidia for nothing" month.
QFT. Change month to year, cause it doesn't look like this train is stopping any time soon.

Intel called their CPU's worthless for the future as well. Why do you think they're coming out with Larabee?

Nikes are for Chav's, Walmart is for americans.. Id rather not shop there thanks.

In the computer market i dont care about the company. When buying my products its.. Does it work.. Does it work well.. Is it a good product... Will it be fast...

I dont go looking for the product with the question priority being... Is this a morrally ethic company, are they environmentally friendly etc..

We aren't talking about the future. They said you don't need a fast CPU anymore. It's ignorant rock throwing.
