I say Xbox 360 since it has more better games than PS3 right now.

XBox is underpowered compared to PS3 but I prefer the interface and games for XBox. Also I like the Live better for 360 then PS3...

PS3 does have things going for it... Blu-Ray, Sound quality, it's quiet.

Most important feature about PS3's is that they can fold!

Sorry to say but FPS belong on a PC, where u get a mouse and keyboard....not some twangy analog sticks.

Xbox 360's are better only because of Halo 2. (Yes, I know Halo 3 is out, but Halo 2 is more funner!)

In terms of Games and Gameplay it is VERY subjective. For me they are equal because PS3 has the Final Fantasy franchise while the 360 has GoW. In terms of overall console I'd get the PS3 for Blu Ray.

Sony had a fantastic controller when they released it in 1994, but they've failed to improve it. The 360 controller borrows heavily from it, but offers a few enhancements. I like the asymmetrical thumbstick layout, shoulder triggers rather than 4 buttons, and the curvier design. Those are the main design differences, and they all go in favor of the 360

I hate it when people say that every good game on the 360 always winds up on the PC anyways. Well DUH it is going to wind up on the computer , after all Microsoft makes the 360 while they also make Windows , so it is only common sense that Microsoft will end up porting their best games to Windows. Ever heard of a thing called profit (directed only towards the people who keep bashing all of the ports).

With that said I prefer the 360 due to its better feeling controller,XBOX LIVE, and its slightly better graphics (due to its GPU being based off of the X1900 series, unlike the PS3's 7800/7900 series based GPU).

see he is the exact opposite of me, so its really hard to come into a forum and ask a question like that. just look at the previous batch, which had the most staying power? PS like always, they eventually have more games, not to mention free online play with PS3. that would be the deciding factor to me.
