YES MASSIVE DIFFERENCE! I had a fan grill with a stock fan I thought it was noisy as hell so I replaced it and it was still loud! I was like the company are liers! but then I cut the grill and find out the original fan was silent!

P.S I love this make over, especially because you only have one intake, outake..were those temps with the fans quiet or full blast? with everything down how does it sound? and when it's up is it a fan motor roaring or more of a deep whoosh? this made my morning.

Awesome setup, but it looks like your sound card is potentially blocking airflow to the top DuOrb. It's right up against it!

Dude, removing the fan grills made the biggest difference, my old grills blocked my airflow/ made my fans louder etc.

@dead_j0ker- lawl i got 2x intakes, don't forget my side panel lol xD, with all the fans on full blast, its more like a deep whoosh. Just the Ultra Kaze alone blows **** loads of air O_O, im thinking about strapping my old stock tuniq fan to my heatsink so it can push/pull air.

@Korosu. Ya you guess right :/ My top card idles @ around 5degrees higher then my lower card. But since hot air rises, that might be a factor too.

i'm suprised you noticed a difference when you replaced the tuniq fan .. the standard fan is like 41db full speed 88CFM, i replaced it with a noctua p12 19db 54CFM and saw no difference in temps??

@ rRav3n- I replaced the stock tuniq fans with a Scythe Slipstream rated 110cfm @ 37db.

@ dead_j0ker- i only use the Ultra kaze for exhaust, the ultra is too thick to fit in my intake ports. lol

and i do have lighting ^_^ the 2x duorbs have blue lights, my psu gives off blue led, and my mobo have flashing blue and orange lights. I load some pics too
