I was at my friend's house playing Halo 3 on his 360 and he went in the XBL store and I saw something about this demo. I told him I was excited about this game so he downloaded and installed it then and there and we played, and I also loved it (although not the best of my life, that goes to the HL2 series and GTA4 lol), so I went home and downloaded and installed it on my PS3 to play it again! I love it, and I'm definitely buying it, probably after I finish GTA4 and MGS4 (gotta buy MGS4 first though).
I only have 2 complaints:
1) The firing uses the R1 button rather than the R2 trigger and you can't change that in the options? ***, why would they do that? That's stupid... why not use the button that is more like a TRIGGER, the one that most games use as a TRIGGER, as the TRIGGER BUTTON?
2) I didn't like the AUG, it seemed awfully inaccurate with high recoil very quickly in the few times I used it.
But overall I loved it. Reminds me of CoD4 with larger, brighter, more open maps (well, the one map that is available in the demo was [Oasis]) plus destructible environments, squads, and vehicles. One MAJOR plus I liked about it over CoD4 (and I LOVE CoD4) was that it takes more than a couple shots to kill someone (but it doesn't take a ridiculous amount to kill someone like Halo does). The damage/health is well balanced IMO.
I played some of the campaign mission in the demo, and it was just like CoD it seemed. Nothing overly special, but definitely not bad. I'm definitely more excited about the multiplayer over the campaign.

Nah, this one is more like Kelly's Heroes
(plot-wise). Comedic, silly, and again, for gold. Only difference is that it's a WWII movie... but a great one, I love it!
But I have a feeling this game will have cheesy dialog and the plot won't really be that great. Just another war campaign, feeling just like CoD4, but less serious and more light-hearted. That's how the demo's campaign seems to me, so far.Edited by TriplePlay - 6/20/08 at 10:49pm
