Is there software that will only use OC'd setting when running game?

like it only use the OC'd clock speed when I open my game.exe then it will go back to normal non-OC clock when I leave the game client ?

I kinda want to use the top limit OC'd clock for game but it's pointless to keep using it when I am not playing game..

Programs such as Rivatuner have the options to set separate clock speeds for 2D and 3D... Since modern cards automatically switch between 2D and 3D mode, this should work for you

I am using RivaTuner and yes I do see a scroll down menu with "2D" "low 3D" and "hi 3D"..but the problem is that whenever I set clocks the high 3D, the 2D clock follows it.

Odd... it doesn't do that for me.. Can you move the 2D clock downward after you increase the 3D clock (without taking 3D down with it?)
