what card should I get?? - Page 3

Thread Starter
few more questions..

how beastly is a single 8800 ultra? they are still ~$400-$500 a piece

what was the release date for the GX2?

for those that have used the 'step up' program, could I save some money by buying an evga gx2 before the new cards come out and stepping up in 90 days?

again, thanks...

I'd get either the 9800GX2 or the 8800Ultra then stepup later to the 280 GTX. The higher price tag of the GX2 and Ultra means when you stepup the 280 GTX will cost less.
