Rakukojin, how'd you get the DoCoMo? I saw it a loooooong time ago but gave up right away knowing it would be a huge hassle figuring out how to import it.

Is it even usable with GSM? I mean, the basic features, like SMS. They do use mail instead of SMS over there, so... *wonders*

I have a lot of contacts in Japan, so they can make purchases on my behalf. The phone that I have (which is the same one as the article) does support GSM and like most Japanese phones you can set the language to English. There is SMS, but there is no T9 or any text-prediction for English. To use the phone in other countries other than Japan without a contract with DoCoMo (or any other carriers), you need to have a SIM hack to get any call/text/etc. features. Multimedia functions like camera/video/games/etc. for DoCoMo phones are unlocked from the start. Hope that helped.

I'm actually trying to sell this phone so that I can get different one that I've been interested in for a while. This phone just came out last November and it's already out of date
