E2180 vs E7200

Thread Starter
I am making a quite budget build. My stuff so far is:
- DFI Lanparty DK P35
- Corsair 550W PSU
- 2Gb memory, but planning to replace by 4Gb G.Skill soon
- crappy asus case with 3 fans only :/

The graphics will most likely be 8800GTS 512 or maybe ati 4850. I will definitely go quad core later, after I get the better case, but need something atm, for next several months. I was thinking about e2180 + ACF7 Pro, but now I'm looking at e7200 which, for a couple pounds more, should be better even with stock cooler. What do you guys think?

Ive heard nothing but good things about the E7200. Im kinda bias towards the E8400 however and dont remember the price difference or the specs of the E7200 but with a little better cooling im sure you can get that 7200 up to 3.0 like the 8400 which is quite fast. So yea point is 7200's are nice chips ive heard but 8400 will get you further. So if OC'ing go with 7200 and OC it or E8400 for stock speeds till you go quad.
