I don't see what all the fuss is about, if you set your settings right, you can run @ 3.6Ghz (mine isn't stable due to cooler, but that'll change in a few weeks).
My current setup is 3.4Ghz (377x9), feeding 1.3625v @ vcore, 1.35v to both FSB and MCH/ICH, and mem is 400 mhz ref (3:5 ratio).
There is nothing wrong with this board's overclocking potential, it does well. I know this thread is old but I thought I would make it clear. All you need is good cooling on CPU, and I would suggest (as I will be upgrading to) purchasing an aftermarket cooler for your NB and SB. It would only cost around $40 for two good coolers, and you'd reducing temps for even better OCing.
