Rheobus Question

Thread Starter
Hey fellas,
Was just wondering, im planning on getting a 4 fan Rheobus and i see that its LED's turn blue when high speed, wel i dont want that, so!
I was gonna take those LED's out and put in these, http://www.jab-tech.com/4000MCD-5mm-...k-pr-2391.html . My question is, on all the rheobus i see their LED's with 3 leads, on these led's there are only 2 so which do i use and what is the third for?

Thanks guys! or gals i guess =p

yes I think he does.
There are two lights in those LEDs, one blue and one red. One wire is the ground, one wire is input for red, and one wire is the input for blue.

simply disconnecting the lead that goes to the blue will stop it from turning blue, but I think it will not be red. Instead you will have to connect the lead from blue to the red input.

I would do a quick google search to figure out which lead is which.

The red turns off when you set the fans over 7V. Check out this site for cheaper and brighter LEDs. http://www.unique-leds.com They have the dual colored LEDs that can be used in the Rheobus.
