Graphics Card - Need prompt response!

So my lil brother needs a decent AGP card.
He plays WoW and CS:S, and would definitely like to play the new free upcoming game, Battlefield Heroes... but he'll need DX9 for that.

Currently he's got a MX4000 PCI card. He plays most of his games at like 800 x 600 with low settings.

I'd like to get him up to 1024 x 768 at medium settings on CS:S.

I found someone on craigslist that is selling a 9600XT for about $35. Is this a good deal?

So how do you think it would perform on HL2 games like CS:S?

And do you think it will be able to run Battlefield Heroes?

I'd suggest finding a 7900GS AGP or a X1950Pro AGP. Both will play either game at max settings comfortably.

Depending on the rest of the system he should be able to max out CS:S (except for AA and AF) with that card at 1280x1024. I have a computer with a Sempron 2400+, 1GB of ram and a Sapphire 9600 Pro 256mb and it run's CS:S at decent rates.

Seeing as these cards are much newer and much more powerful if you can find one of either of those mentioned by NrGx then you wouldn't have to worry about CS:S or WoW or even Battlefield Heroes.
