2 Reserators?

Thread Starter
Right - ATM i'm using a Zalman Reserator 1 Plus, which is a water cooling system unit "all in one" - a reservoir, with a small pump at the bottom, and the fins around the edge of the reservoir make it into a radiator at the same time.

Due to the "unique" way my house works we have a spare one "kicking about", which is a Reserator 1 (which is identical to the original Reserator in this way). I was wondering if theres ANY way I could "link" the two together? If needs be the pump can be removed, and one could be used wholly as a Reservoir / Radiator.

FWIW the pump in this is trash - 300L/Hour, 1.5m (or Feet - can't remember) of head.

Selling the is not an option!

Images of it:

EDIT - Is there ANY way I can link the two pumps together? I think it would really help...

It cools my CPU very quietly at stock. Not ideal, but i got it free so I can't complain.

why not one look for GPU one loop for CPU?

You think one of these could cope with an 8800GTX?!

It'd need an expensive waterblock and it'd run just as hot as stock.

It'll be cooling the CPU and GFX card no. 2, a 6600GT.

I'd rip out both the pumps, buy the additional fan kits for the Resorators and then stick a DDC Ultra inside the case.. that would be intersting to see how it performs compared to a custom setup!

I personally would not use a reserator for 2 main reasons; namely that it's made out of aluminum (which leads to corrosion issues in loops with blocks that have copper bases) and the fact that the performance is pretty poor.

Peformance isn't that bad, actually.

Plumped the 2 together, waiting for my 6600GT waterblock then i'm set
