Xigmatek PTR-N881 NB cooler (pics)

Hey guys I decided I'd buy a different HS to cool my X48s NB, not because temps were all that hot but because the stock Dfi Heat-minator has some flunky dimensions... I'll also change out the pushpins on my S1283 for a bolt thru kit and instead of AS5 I will be using AC MX-2. The goal is to mount my S1283 where it exhausts out the back of the case versus the top(which was impossible with the heat-minator) and hopefully see a sizable drop in temps. (we'll see if new TIM + bolt thru mounting kit + exhausting out the rear has any profound impact).

Dimensions: 127.8(W) x 80(H) x 48.9(D)mm
Weight: 150g

Attachment 74936

Dimensions: 90 x 55 x 110mm
Weight: unknown

Will update this post sometime next week as I have yet to receive the wiring, sleeving and heatshrink tubing from Performance-PCs. I plan on doing everything at once to limit downtime; rewiring/cable management and the prior discussed alterations.

-EDIT-

I'll add a shot from the side to show it's how narrow the HS is...

Did you get anywhere with this???

I am looking at getting an Xigmatek S1283 and my concearns about dimensions cant be answered by the lack of meaningful infomation on the website. Also as you point out the heat minator has some weird dimensions and is currently causing obstructions to my freezer 7 cooler which I would like to replace as I've heard nothing but good things about the s1283.
Which just leaves the the NB cooling, minator needs to be removed and the porter looks the best choice to me although getting hold of one in the UK looks like a challenge.
I would be really keen to see photos of the s1283 and the n881 installed as I have the same Mobo and I want to check that it will all work before ordering the n881 from germany and paying more for carriage than the heatsink is worth...lol.

Cheers
