Overclock Intel E2160. CPU-Z Problem

Thread Starter
Hey everyone. I overclocked my Intel E2160 CPU on my Gigabyte board (GA-P35-DS3L) and in my BIOS it says I'm at 2.70 GHz. Also when I check 'My Computer' It also says 2.70.

However in CPU-Z it says this.

It still shows 1.8 (my default clock speed) in CPU-Z. Sometimes it will jump up to 2.7 but only for a second.
Why isn't CPU-Z showing my overclock? Am I really overclocked?

Did you turn off C1E in Bios?
Or if you don't feel like searching..........disable C1E, Speedstep, and or EIST whichever is in your bios......

Does anyone have this same motherboard? I don't see anything that says Speedstep, EIST, or C1E under my Power Options.

edit: my multiplier is at 9X and CPU-Z shows 6X?

Ok I found both the 'CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E)' and the 'CPU EIST Function (SpeedStep)' options. Should I disable both of them?
