Old School OC help

Thread Starter
I have a P4 HT 3.4 Ghz on a sckt 478 board from Biostar. I've been able to OC this thing to 4Ghz but after a few minutes i get blue screen to a memory dump. When i game at anything above 3.7 Ghz i get the same blue-screen.

Unfortunately im running 2 1gig sticks in single channel mode. I've noticed using ready-boost can delay the crash, but is there anyway to fix this so i can get a good 4Ghz OC? I couldnt find a way to change the FSB memory ratio in the bios.

You need to find out why it is crashing. CPU? Memory? I'd suspect heat.
