3870 "3d mode" problem.

what could cause an HD3870 to fail to enter 3d mode clocks?

i just redid my pencil mod for 1.5v and im having huge troubles. my card will not switch to 3d clocks.

Maybe your hitting the OVP on that card. Drop it to 1.4 and move up slowly.

My card has and OVP at 1.4v but it think its the lowest around.

i figured out the problem. somehow my default DVI port was switched.
