Networking issue - DNS related

When I ping my server which is called "server" I get a reply back from the wrong ip address. It must be openDNS's server or something because its very close to thier dns server IPs (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220).
I type ping server in cmd and this is what I get back:
Pinging server.1337 Network [208.67.217.132] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 208.67.217.132: bytes=32 time=48ms TTL=52

Ping statistics for 208.67.217.132:
Packets: Sent = 1, Received = 1, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 48ms, Maximum = 48ms, Average = 48ms

The 1337 network is my wireless SSID, so I'm not sure why it says pinging server.1337 Network.

I figured it out. There was a setting on the router called "Local Domain Name" and under that I had 1337 Network.

That added the prefix of "1337 Network" to all our computer names when they get pinged which somehow made it hit their servers or something.
